Prof. Yifat Bitton

Recearch Leader

One of Israel’s leading legal experts with rich experience in promoting women’s rights and combating gender-based violence, both nationally and internationally. She serves as the President of Achva Academic College and Chairperson of the Public Colleges’ Heads Association in Israel. Founder of the "Tmura Center for Equality" and a global expert on gender-based violence, she represented countless victims and led groundbreaking legal precedents. Add more… Bitton Holds an L.L.M. from Yale University, a Ph.D. from Hebrew University, and has been a visiting faculty and researcher at top universities worldwide, including Harvard University, NYU and the University of Chicago.

ADV. Shir Bukra

Attorney and researcher with Bachelor and master's degrees in law, specializing in human rights. She holds additional Master degree in Maritime Security and Strategy at Haifa University, was a fellow in an international program at The Hague Tribunal, and worked at the "Tmura Center for Equality." Currently, she serves as a senior coordinator in the Public Relations and Government Relations Department at the Ministry of Justice.

ADV. Vardit Avidan

Social/Cause attorney with a Master’s degree in Law from Haifa University. Specializing in sexual safety in organizations and representing sexual assault victims. She served as a leading attorney at the "Tmura Center for Equality" and currently heads the Legal Aid Clinic during wartime at the Faculty of Law at Haifa University.

Hodaya Shaked

A legal expert with a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy from Ben-Gurion University, with extensive experience in labor relations, equal employment opportunities, and public policy. She served as the Southern District Manager of the New General Workers’ Union and as a program manager at the ISEF Foundation. Currently, serves as the Chief of Staff to the President of Achva Academic College.
